Preparation Guidelines
For Procera and Procera Bridge

Procera AllCeram Bridge can be utilized on implants for cemented solutions. The edentulous space must be less than 11 mm and the occlusal-cervical height more than 3 mm.

For Procera restorations, a tooth preparation of the chamfer type is the optimum choice. The preparation design is analogous to the architecture of the natural tooth.

  • Chamfer preparation is characterized by thinned margins and a cutting with rounded inner angles and edges.
  • To attain optimum adaptation, the occlusal surfaces of posterior teeth should have a relatively flat surface topography.
  • When it comes to preparation depth, the veneering potential of Procera AllCeram permits a variation in preparation depth between 0.8-1.5 mm.
  • For occlusal surfaces in general, and for Procera AllTitan in particular, the same reduction is recommended as for metal ceramics, depending on the clinical situation.

The preparation for Procera AllCeram Bridge must allow an occlusal-cervical height of at least 3 mm. The preparation should also be tapered away from the edentulous space to enable the correct connector design.
